We Use the Best Technology Because You Deserve the Best Treatment
State-of-the-Art Technology

Surgical Operating Microscope
This specialty microscope allows endodontists to see and work with the highest degree of precision — often measured in fractions of a millimeter. Accompanied by an intensely focused light, we can see and treat infections more effectively than ever before. We’ve equipped all of our treatment rooms at Beacon Endodontics with Seiler Surgical Operating Microscopes, manufactured here in St Louis!

Cone-Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT)
This relatively new technology makes it possible for endodontists to visualize the teeth, facial skeleton, and related tissues in three dimensions. Legacy equipment only provides a two-dimensional image, but CBCT (when needed) leads to a more reliable diagnosis. Thanks to this tool, endodontic care is more precise than ever before.

Digital Radiography
Digital radiography provides a clear image immediately available without the use of traditional x-ray film. We can enhance and manipulate the image on a computer screen. It also reduces radiation exposure by 90% (compared to conventional x-ray).

Infection Control/Single Use Instruments
Our office complies with OSHA and the CDC standards, and we go further. We use certain instruments one time only — ones which wear out, break easily, or are difficult to sterilize. Commonly, these instruments are re-sterilized and used on additional patients. We do things differently, treating each patient with brand new instruments that are guaranteed sterile and less susceptible to breakage.

Nitrous Oxide Sedation
A safe gas mixture that patients breathe during treatment to ensure comfort and
alleviate anxiety. Safe for both adults and children, it takes the edge off feelings of
nervousness but doesn’t put the patient to sleep. Though it makes some feel sleepy, it wears off minutes after the procedure is over, allowing patients to safely drive home.
